Your CV is often your first introduction to an employer. Especially for Dutch-speaking jobs in Morocco, it pays to be clear about your languages, your experience and your availability. These 5 tips help you make a strong first impression.
1. Show your language level clearly
For our vacancies, good Dutch is the basis; for some vacancies (near-)native level is expected. So state your native language at the top of your CV, together with your level in other languages, such as French or English.
2. Highlight customer-focused experience
Experience in customer service is a plus, but experience from other sectors counts too, such as sales, hospitality or administration. Briefly describe what you did and what you achieved. Customer-oriented, patient and a strong communicator: these are qualities employers look for.
3. Keep it short and clear
One to two pages is enough. Put your most recent experience first, use short sentences and a clear layout. Check spelling and language: for a Dutch-speaking job, an error-free CV is your business card.
4. Give your contact details and availability
State your e-mail address, your phone number and where you live. That last one matters: some vacancies are remote and require you to live in Morocco, others start on site in Rabat or Casablanca. Also say from when you are available.
5. Add a short motivation
Explain in a few sentences why you want to work in Morocco and what you are looking for. In our CV form you can do this in the Motivation field. That way we get to know you faster.
